The Tenderfoot row from the harbour is on Sunday June 22, meeting at 2pm by SSC.
Please could anyone who is available to help sign up on this thread.
We will take one disabled rower out at a time in a Celtic for a short spin around the bay.
We will need help with getting life jackets on, holding the boat at the pontoon, rowing and chatting to participants and their families and carers.
We will have food in the Sailing Club afterwards provided by the RotaryClub for all participants, families, carers and volunteers.
It is usually a great event enjoyed by all so any help you can give will be well rewarded.

Thank you everyone who has volunteered to help, that is amazing

If we can meet at 1.45 at SSC to get one boat ready and launched we will pick up our first participant as near to 2pm as possible.

We may have 6/7 to take out this year and it takes about 30 minutes each.

We will need folks on the land to chat to participants and families/carers, at least tow on the pontoon to help hold the boat while they get in/ out, three rowing and help to fit life jackets properly.

We will need someone on land to coordinate who will row next as we will swap folks in but it is likely not everyone will get to be in the boat but help on land will be important too and chatting over the BBQ.

Looks like we may get a shower, or not!! Bring a raincoat just in case as we will go ahead unless it is torrential.
