After a successful Coppet Week, and the Wisemans 30th Anniversary Challenge race last weekend you might have thought it was time for a rest!

But NO ….. we are hosting an event for the opening of SaundersFEST and would like to put a call out to members to help provide yet another memorable evening at SSC.

SaundersFEST starts on Friday 7th July late afternoon with choirs on the event deck from 5.30pm, followed by our very own Rodders playing with his band Footbridge on the decking of the Club from 8pm.

We will be providing an outside Bar (from 5pm) and BBQ (from 6pm), and need volunteers to help out.

We have drawn up a rota so members can volunteer, but also have time to enjoy the event, as the old saying goes …. Many hands make light work!

The main jobs are outlined below and the numbers indicate how many people as a minimum we need during each time slot.

If you are able to volunteer please email treasurer@saundersfootsailingclub.org.uk stating which job and time slot you would like to help with.

TRUGS
We also need to borrow some large, clean, plastic trugs for keeping beer & wine cold, if you can supply please let us know and drop to the club by Friday morning (please make sure you hang a label or write your name on it, so we can ensure you get it back!).

If you are not able to offer your services to help out, please come along and support by buying food and beer, we will be making a donation to the charities who are benefiting from the event, but this is a great opportunity to promote our club and hopefully encourage more locals to take an interesting in clubs and all it has to offer the community.
