New Years Day Swim

The Committee has decided to hold this years New Years Day Swim on January 1st 2023.

The swim starts at 12 midday, and therefore the Sailing Club will be open from 11am for people to gather and get changed.

After the swim we will all head back to the sailing club when the bar will be open for refreshments. Bacon butties will also be served, at a very reasonable cost, ranging from £2.50 to £7.50 depending upon what you have on them, and whether we think you have loads of money, remembering all money raised goes to charity.

This year we will be raising funds for The Little Princess Trust, a charity that provides real hair wigs to children and young people who have lost their hair through cancer treatment and other medical conditions. They were established in 2006 and have provided over 12000 wigs to date. Please find time to visit their web site, you realise what a worthy cause this charity is.

So with this charity in mind the dress code for this years swim is simple, wear Wiseman's Bridge clothing/gear, top half, (promotes our club, especially with the world rowing that's been in Saundersfoot this year), the skimpiest speedo's bottom half, and a wig, everybody must wear a wig, this way we promote the charity.

General drunken debauchery will take place in the club after the swim, that's mandatory, so it would be great to have good Wisey's turn out for this.
