Working Party fpr GRR
Aug 5th, 2013 at 10:51pm

Hi guys

Can someone post what work needs to be done on the boats prior to GRR as I haven't a clue...

Also what's happening with the oars - Can we borrow Tenby's?
Seats - Are the ones we've got sufficient or do we need to source some more? (quickly!!)
Foot straps are they all ok?
Trailors - are we taking two doubles? (I believe we can borrow Tenby's)

Anything else? Does someone want to suggest a date for a working party if it warrant's it?

Cheers

ROK needs new foot straps in 3 and I am not sure if we have enough seats for the 3 boats.

I am happy to help out with any tasks (with some guidance)

Phil Griff and Sandy reckon that the middle oar gates are set up wrong in the yellow boat and they don't allow a full stroke to be made, so perhaps some-onewho knows can look at that and adjust it x  Smiley

I spoke to the foam man in Tenby and we can get new foam for the green seats for £5.50 each.

He mentioned repairing the seats themselves but reckoned it would be about £20 per seat to re-cover.

Let me know what you want me to do about the foam.

I would say just put new foam in for now until we decide what we are doing in the long term about the seats.
