As most are aware WBRC own Wiggy & Cavindishy have managed to get enteries in the Carten 100mile cycle race from Cardiff back to Tenby!! Needless to say neither have done much training (true WBRC style)
I know a few others were interested but missed the gates!!
So wondered if anyone fancy a jolly from Llanelli back to the bridge on the National Bike route!?
It will give the boys a bit of a ride out and would be a bit of a bump start to the season
Its around 50 miles mostly flat until we hit St Clears !!
Ive counted at least 5 pubs we will ride past their front doors!!!
This wont be a race just a bit of a cruise!!!
What you think!?  Roll Eyes

sounds good to me, a weekend I assume?
are we thinking pre-season here? what with coastal challenge in the way, I'm looking at the calendar and going all the way back for a free weekend and it's easter bank hol weekend (crazy roads time with tourists), or weekend of 23-24 Mar?

reasoning:
Carten is 11th May
Sat 27Apr - Mon 6May - Pembrokeshire Coastal Challenge
Sat 20Apr T&C wedding
Sat13 Castle2Castle, Sun14 Caernarfon league
Sat 6Apr - Return of Cleddau
Fri29Mar - Mon1Apr Easter bank hol weekend *Sat 30th = day out in Cardiff... dubbed 'Judgement Day' by the WRU, Scarlets v Dragons 2pm, Ospreys v Blues 5pm - back to back games £25 a ticket in the millenium stadium, not a bad price for two games, will be after 6N so the stars will be back in the regions.
Sat23Mar - girls on hen do so daddy daycare for the carten boys
Sat16Mar - deny England the GS. Could start out in the morning from Llanelli, catch some of the Ita V Ire game 'on the way' when getting 'refreshments' Wal V Eng doesn't kick off till 5pm, could be at the bridge by then if 5hr ride is to be believed...  Huh
Sat9Mar - Rugby, Sunday 10th = mothers day.
Sat2Mar - this weekend. I'm not around but them's your options  Shocked

I also like on the map how there are loads of place names (one for each place) but they still keep Arberth Narberth. my friends from England when they visit actually pronounce it like that! brilliant  Grin  Lips Sealed

If I am free I'll give it a go - although last time I was on a bike I had a free trip to Withybush to have my head glued back together.

Don't worry about the house youv'e got a least 10 yrs before the un-finished jobs get annoying. As for wedding took me about a week to organise mine.(well the bits i had to do) oh and delegated them back to Marja, so in all didn't have to do a thing, just turned up. That's Planning! Grin
