This will be on Sat 12th May - I have looked at Travel lodge £59 per room but may be noisy (next to Live Lounge) or Premier Inn Cardiff South (between Centre and Bay) which is probably preferable at £69 per room - this is on a flexible rate and can be cancelled the day before. I would imagine this will book up now the date has been announced so it may be worth booking rooms asap - what does everyone think?

Premier Inn - http://www.premierinn.com/gb/en/hotels/wales/glamorgan/cardiff/cardiff-city-sout... - Room rates (including family rooms) are £69 per night which is great value for Cardiff and you can cancel up to the day before if you get a better offer!

City Centre Premier Inn is £98 and closer to the start but the South one will be quieter and is only a mile or two from the city anyway! You also don't pay until your arrival.

I've booked a family room for us. (Still not committed to doing it though.... Shocked

)

I suggest if you are considering doing the CarTen, book a room on the flexible rate and then you can always cancel if you decide not to!

Carten 2018 is getting closer and closer - about 14 weeks away I reckon. The time for some serious training is upon us, regardless of the weather...

Calling all carteners , last major weekend for most of us to get a good ride in!!!
Does anyone fancy getting together over this long weekend to ride together, looking to get a good 50us miles , we can grab coffee but also good to get used to having small nibbles to fuel body while riding.
So if you fancy it post here guys for which day better 👍
