Forecast: WSW force 5, possible shower, a bit warmer than it has been
LW: 16.07, 2.1m
HW: 22.23, 7.4m
Height at 18.00: 3.1m (5.0m at 19.30)

So the weather is iffy and there could be some surf at Wisemans, plus the rocks will likely be exposed at launch time (OK for landing later)
It should be sheltered by the cliffs. We could take the boat from Back Beach if the conditions are all right, 2 trips if necesary.

I checked out the beaches at 06.45.
The wind is still forecast to be SW going WSW force 5 all day but it was nothing like that this morning, more like F3. The sea was flat with a gentle surf.
The tide height was 4.2m and Wisemans looked just about doable. It will be that height again at 7pm.
Can we go from back beach, given that the wind may pick up to what is forecast?

Sorry I'm away but if using the back beach please if you can notify a member of staff also please make sure all gates are always are never left open or the Harbour will stop our access thanks 😊

Thanks, Mark. There are some at the sailing club but I can’t remember how many.
We wiil go from the harbour, I think it is best tonight. The wind did pick up and there was some surf mid-day. We can stay in the shelter of the cliffs all being well.

I make it 8 so far: Mark, Di, Daph, Deb, Karen, me, Sandy and a newbie. So we will have to make two trips and swap people about. Let’s give it a go.
