I'm not available tomorrow, and I refuse to use the training word until 1st June.  But I will be going for a bike ride this afternoon.

Been going to Cycle fit with John for a couple of months. Its pretty good, would recommend, especially to people like me who haven't yet acquired a road bike!

Pete if you have a racer with skinny wheels you need to get them up to 100psi - I am not joking! they are like rocks but any less than 90psi and you are in 'pinch' puncture territory

Sh*t looks like I missed it. I've got in contact with a charity and may enter through that route. Bonus if I can raise a couple of quid for a good cause too!

Heading out from cross inn, broadmoor at 10.30 if anyone fancy a bike ride. Will be a 20 odd miler to ease legs back into saddle after time off. Even if your not doing velathon but fancy it your very welcome to join in  ;)

Ok fellas was havin a think today about accomadation etc for this event.
Their is 8 of us confirmed registered with 2 others going down charity raising route to get signed on:
Glen ,Big john,Mark ,Pj ,Jd ,Neil,Jake, Clackey  ,Dan,Tim:
Tash Had a look at hotels for the Saturday night there are rooms available from around £40 pp.
The other option is take the vans and camp, BBQ night before with glens Fire pit :D Always fun at sporting events.
Can fit a couple of you in our van no worries.
Am checking out a camp site and awaiting availability !
And  the general thaught is to camp from what I gather speaking to a few of you tonight.
If any of you prefer a hotel room then good idea for you get this booked as the event is looking at 15,000 riders!!! :o so rooms will be gone soon.
i know might seem early thinking of this but good to get ahead of the game  :)
Will let you all know what we find out in week & those with vans can you accomadate?
We do have awnings between us which we can join up to create a base camp and it will be June so hopefully warm!
No other real preping to do at mo other than a bit cycling here and there  ;)

We will need to drive to the start which parking may be a prob unless the velathon are putting on a patk n ride otherwise a friend of mine lives near cardiff bay an i can ask if we can park a van or 2 there

Hi Guys. Been out of the loop a bit. Am cycling to a from work so getting some miles in. Have booked accommodation in the big sleep via the velothon people so that's all sorted. Will try and join some weekend long rides once my bike arse has toughened up again  :)
