Is anyone keen on a row over to see the Iron Man next Sunday?

It’d be an early one (someone wiser than me would know what time we need to leave) and I gather we can park in the Iron works and walk down. I’m going to drive that way later to check there’s no road closures.

I could do it if the numbers fit but I will drop out if they don't. Gareth is down for the weekend and I think he would be interested.
Weather forecast looks promising at the moment. I would say we need to be on the water by 6am and be back by 8.45. if we only have 1 boat we could leave it on the dolly in the harbour if necessary and sort it out on Monday.
We would need to move the boat(s) into the car park and sort out all the kit on Saturday evening as we must not disturb the campers early in the morning.

Sorry Becca, I don't have a contact for Gareth, perhaps someone else does.
It seems we have 5 so far, so if Gareth turns up that will be 6.

The forecast for Sunday is now showing cloudy with a 10% chance of rain which will be better for the cyclists and runners. Still light wind from WSW.

This evening, I'm very sorry but I’m still at home (it’s 7pm) the children are shattered and have had meltdowns since late afternoon. I just haven’t managed to get out. I’ll do the putting the boat away tomorrow.
