The Italians visit .... plan of action

Hi All

Here is a bullet point list of times, events and things going on during the weekend of 27 - 30th April. We have had a number of trips out to Italy to join them at their event and they have choosen our league race day to come visit and try out Celtic rowing, so lets given them a proper Wisey welcome and a weekend to remember

Friday 27th
Arrive cardiff early afternoon, welcomed by Sam English (WSRA) Jim, Andy & Nic? (Towy)
Coach to The Cove

Welcome gala dinner
(See Marja posts) Everyone welcome with partners + our sponsors & other clubs

Saturday 28th - PYC Wreck Race
Italians coach over to PYC by 10am
Boats ready and Wisey people to run training/boat familiarisation session - volunteers required

Wreck race starts 12.30 (see Libby posts to sign up to row)
Coxes required for Italian boats (x4) volunteers required.

After race - Italians have free evening

Sunday 29th April - Our Race Day
Set up starts at Coppet Hall 6.30am
Rest of helpers to arrive by 9.30am
Italians arrive 10am
Coxes brief 10.45 start 11.30 am

After race day - ALL wiseys to stay and clear up
Italians will be taken to SSC for showers/change etc

Return to Wisemans Bridge for Fairwell food/drinks

Monday 30th April
at stupid O'clock the Italians will leave as have a 10am flight from Cardiff
