| Wiseman's
Bridge Rowing Club was established some fifteen years
ago and is now a very fast growing and friendly club with the emphasis
on enjoyment and socialising but still offering racing for those
who want to exert themselves more!
We normally meet on Tuesdays and Thursdays at a 6.15 pm. We have
two boats so we can accommodate all rowers by staggering rowing
times according to how many rowers turn up.
We try and mix crews up as much as possible but always insist on
two experienced rowers in the boats. There is no pressure to row
hard if you don't want to in fact it's always better to learn technique
first then build up workload later if you wish.
We launch from Wisemans Bridge beach and a typical outing would
be to the beautiful Monkstone Point and back along
the beaches to Saundersfoot Harbour then back to Wisemans Bridge
Beach, and sometimes to Tenby and back (especially for those who
are race training).

After rowing we all meet in the Wisemans Bridge Inn which is next
to our launch site (this is no coincidence!) for a well earned pint.
The club tries to encourage all members to join in with the socialising
because we feel this is an important part of the club and of course
we all get to know each other better that way.
